ABSTRACT
The perinatal period is a sensitive phase that tends to reveal or even exacerbate pre-existing, often intertwined and cumulative psychosocial vulnerabilities such as precariousness, mental health disorders, violence, or substance use. Their identification must be a priority due to their impact on parental health and child development. This article explores risk factors, validated screening tools, and integrated care models in Switzerland and abroad. It highlights the key role of frontline professionals, the importance of interdisciplinary coordination, and the need to structure cantonal systems to ensure equity and continuity in perinatal care.
